Marian Nozaleda

Marian was born in Spain, where she finished degrees in Piano Performance, Contemporary History and Education. During the last year of her MA in History, she was awarded an Erasmus grant to study International Relations at the Sorbonne in Paris. While in Paris, she also earned a DEA in Contemporary Musicology at EHESS-IRCAM. In 2001, Marian moved to the United States where she has been working as a Lecturer in Spanish in several universities while finishing a MA in Spanish Literature. Currently she is pursuing her PhD in Spanish Literature at Stony Brook. Her biggest achievement in life has been raising her wonderful son, Alexandre, as a single mom.
