Helen Dorado Alessi

Helen Dorado Alessi has worked as Herstory’s program consultant since 2015, with a focus on bringing our programming to underserved school districts. As site supervisor, curriculum planner, and master teacher, she is the liaison between administrators, school board members, teachers and counselors and our Herstory team, tailoring our curriculum to each district’s needs, arranging for professional development for teachers and staff, and designing the roll-out of culminating events, public presentations and publications by students, community activism, philanthropy and nonprofit leadership.
