Susanne Marcus

Susanne Marcus, Herstory’s education consultant served twice as president of New York State TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages). She played a key role in developing Herstory’s Brave Journeys resource guide and spearheading the professional development that accompanies it, culminating in our first ever CTLE approved 9-week professional development course for teachers and principals working with Nassau BOCES Twilight program. She brings extensive experience in curriculum development for newcomer students, designed special projects in partnership with The Moth, and is trained as a Herstory facilitator.
